A local VO guy here in Baltimore bought these. Used em a bit, but they've been sitting around. He's coming over here next week for some work and I thought I'd toss this out to the crowd. Dunno what he wants for the SD or the expressor. ANy thoughts?

Pricing all depends. Is the Expressor mono or stereo? What revisions are each? Do either have the accursed "tubescence"?

The newest non-tubescence models are generally the ones that command the highest prices, but it fluctuates a bit. I've seen the oldest models of Compellor and Dominator go for $150 on ebay, but some of that is also about wear and tear. If he bought them at retail, there's no getting around a big hit, but a desirable unit in good shape might command $350 or up. (At that point, I don't follow the prices much, cheapskate that I am.)

These are great pieces of gear but the resale is not all that great unfortunately. I saw a Model 700 Dominator go unsold for $175 recently on eBay and it looked to be in very good condition. The newer updated models should go for more.

I've never looked seriously at a Compellor so I'm not up on the prices.
