these look fairly interesting. the ruby tube was recommended to me. the room machine seems like a way cool idea.

The Silverspike Room Machine and the Anwida Soft reverbs are excellent free plug-ins. The Anwida in particular has worked so well for me (and I use reverb sparingly) that I haven't felt justified spending actual money to repalce it. http://www.thedirectxfiles.com/manufacture..._dxrevlight.htm

Nothing personal, but I hated the Anwida verb.

I didn't like it when I tried it either.

Ouch! To each his own I guess. I use very little reverb so I get by with it. At least it's free if anybody here cares to try it. BTW, when I decide to part with some dough for a reverb plug-in, it'll probably be the Sonic Timeworks 4080L.

I haven't had a lot of time to play with it, but the RealVerb plug on the UAD-1 card is pretty decent. I also like the Waves Renaissance Reverberator Native.
