My wife and I have a tradition to stay home and hang out together. The last few years, though, we've finished celebrating at 11 or 11:30 and been asleep at midnight.

I'm either going to clean the house or take the family to a hotel for a mini vacation before going back to school. I might do both.

My wife is cooking a HUGE gumbo and we're having family and a few friends over for a a fairly subdued party. I bought a small P.A. recently and I'm hoping the musician / singing types all show who are promising they will so we can jam. I have been on drum hiatus for too long and am ready to play along with anyone by now.

I never thought of the money thing. I usually spend more than I make on New Year's Day. I guess that's why I'm still in debt.
