Full Version: Are we now a seal of approval?
Mojo Pie > Talk and News > Funky and Uncommon Recording Gear
Bear's Gone Fission
A current oyVey auction. For when it expires, the subtitle of the auction is "Mojo Pie approved" and quotes the text of Jetphase's "Black Box" series.

[It's been pointed out that the link isn't working right, and I can't seem to get it going. The item # is 320227671065, and the auction is for a Urei/JBL 7110, with a price that seems a little inflated, but I haven't been hunting these so who knows.]

Dude, I've seen my own writing ripped and used in gear catalogs and online retailers without getting the credit. I was reading the Sweetwater catalog the other day while in the bathroom and there were some of our magic words tagged to the KSM141.

Here's the headline from our review: "The KSM141: Shurely you'll like its 'in-your-face' sound."

And, from Sweetwater, "The KSM141 by Shure is a versatile mic that excels at the in your face sound."

The guys on eBay at least give Mojo Pie the credit most times.

You're right on ad copy. Wireline's REDDI review is another example.
