I'm a stage 9 nerd that likes discussing the totally mindane, such as different cabling systems, different mic stands, etc...even the difference between what sork surfaces are made of...

The point with this forum has always been that you get something you're not going to get anyplace else really.

You've done a great job so far Bear but if we did it weekly then we'd probably shoot through everything in existence that is funky and uncommon in about three to six months. How many Aphex Dominator Model 700s are there?

When Jetphase wrote his article (which is one of the best audio articles ever on the web IMO) I tried to think of a sequel. I couldn't. I thought of the forum. We're not imparting knowedge about MXL V67 mics here. If we were, then everyone in the world could talk about it. We're imparting knowledge about some weird gear, used by a few people who aren't lemmings like everyone else, and in some instances the gear is pretty damn special.

Anyhow, keep up the good work. I've loved what you've done so far.
