I wanted to thank Bear's Gone Fission for accepting the moderator position here at Funky and Uncommon Recording Gear. He's been posting here in the forum ever since it's been around. This forum was started due to Jetphase's four part series on Funky and Uncommon Recording Gear. Maybe we can get Bear's Gone Fission and Jetphase to do a thread on the original series of articles.

Hey, thanks for trusting me with the reigns--it's hard for anyone to trust a lawyer. Doubly hard when you are one yourself.

Jetphase is in a "life is happening" mode right now, but interested in chiming in when he has the time. The Black Box series was and still is an awesome contribution of knowledge. I like to think that Funky and Uncommon is a running communal update to the series in a way, but that doesn't give quite enough credit to the vision and experience that Jetphase put into those articles.
