I want to introduce the mods for the Recording Forum:

1. Chap is sort of a generalist. He's actually the sort of guy that I envisioned when I started Mojo Pie. I knew there were people out there who wanted to do everything. He's one of the rare ones who actually has been successful. Read more about Chap in this Mix article: http://mixonline.com/mag/audio_jim_chapdelaine/

2. Wireline owns a studio in Midland, Texas. He tends to be practical in his advice. Ken has been a friend for a few years.

3. Pan60 was recommended to me by Peter Montessi of A Designs as a guy who knows his stuff.

I want to thank them for signing on.

One thing I'm going to do is start a thing called "My fave album: ..." In essence, anyone can start a thread with that title. For example, I might entitle mine "My fave album: Aja." The requirement would be though that you got to get someone who was there to show up in your thread and answer some questions. I like challenges. Anyhow, I'm going to get one up myself. There are some incredible recordings out there that haven't been documented as well as they should. Let's see if it's something we might do together.
