Hi. Has anyone tried the Rode M3? I'm looking for a mic to record female vocals and have found my NT-1a to be a little harsh, brittle and siblant. I'm also thinking about the MXL V67g and KEL Audio HM-1 or HM-2d? Would the Rode be a better option?

The mic that I've liked in this price range that delivers for me is the AT4040. Get a used one if you can't afford a new one.
