I'm the new Technical Director at a New York artspace. We've got a Ramsa WR-8616 as our FOH console. The preamps sound awesome and I especially like the EQ, but the damn thing is not at all practical for our purposes. The only known problem is that groups 1, 3 and L have a buzz in them. All of the direct outs sound great so I know that the strips are good. Likewise, the thing is in fairly good physical condition. Before I post this thing on eBay, I thought I'd hit up the Mojo Pie forum to see if anyone was interested, and/or if anyone knows how to get rid of the buzz before I try to sell it. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks ya'll.

If the only issue is a buzz in the left side busses, I'd be looking at a grounding issue for the left side's buss...other than that, if you don't want it. send it here...It will be the perfect match for my 8716....

Yes. I definitely want to get rid of it. We have a 50x50 stage that needs more than two aux sends to properly cover. Likewise, 16 channels is only half of what we need. The mixer is cool as hell but totally impractical for our needs. If you're serious, make me an offer. I'll be at the space today so I can take pictures and stats of the board. You can e-mail me at nyrecordings@yahoo.com.

and send a copy to ken AT Wirelinestudio DOT com...these really are killer boards.
(Steve, if you want my 8716, its up for grabs as well...more of a live board, can't figure out how to integrate it into a hybrid DAW situation here)
