This is just corporate paranoia. If Mel Brooks had made it instead of Albert, would it have been considered for release? As most of his movies are so ridiculous?

There was an article in the Times a while ago about a sitcom script that's making the rounds called The Cell. It's about 3 hapless terrorists who live in Chicago and can't help but becoming "americanized." Apparently the script is hilarious, but no networks will pick it up. One scene had to do with one of the guys being on a bowling team and saying things like, "we will dance on the blood of Hal's Body Shop!"

Not sure if Muslims would lauagh, but I found it kind of funny. The article pointed out the lag times between Korea and MASH, and WWII and Hogan's Heroes.

MASH and Hogans Heroes? That's like comparing apples, and Roller Skates.

The Muslims I've known have varied from tolerant people who want to lead their own lives without intrusion and those who want to impose their will upon us because we're infidels. It's been about 50/50.

I'd call the first group libertarian as they just want the freedom to practice their own beliefs without government instrusion.

I'd call the second group theocratic as they want us to adopt their beliefs by any means possible.

I hate those folks imposing their will on us infidels. Like here in Texas, I can't buy a bottle of port or sherry on a Sunday afternoon. I guess it might lead to dancing.

Jews don't recognize Jesus. Protestants don't recognize the Pope. Baptists don't recognize each other at the liquor store.

Yeah, I didn't touch on our own theocrats. However, they've yet to get to chopping off people's heads for possessing the Koran (in recent times anyhow).

While the individual acts of Christian extremists may not be quite as sensational as those of Muslim extremists (shooting abortion doctors vs. chopping heads off foreign contractors), Christian theocrats seem to be in positions that make them far more dangerous overall than Muslim theocrats - president of the United States, for instance.
