served me well. a definate step up from the $200 LDC condenser world. multipattern.

for digital recording, i would say that it makes a better instrument mic than a vocal mic. great for distant micing. it was pretty important for my location m/s set-up.

my go to 3 feet from outside of kick mic. in omni mode, great as the, "you all gather around and sing backups" mic.

etc. really big and impressive looking to "outsiders".
